Duncan Lloyd - Seeing Double

What's it like? This is the same Duncan Lloyd as the one from Maximo Park and he's stepped out with his own album. It's less pop-y than Maximo Park, more organic and you can tell a lot of work has gone into this album. Also each song is broken down into 10 pieces so track 2 is track 21 and track 7 is 71! We really like this album.

When's it out? October 6th

Funeral For A Friend - Kicking and Screaming

What's it like? This the second single from their forth album 'Memory and Humanity'. It's a lot bouncier than their usual time and something you could both mosh and dance to so hats off to FFAF. It's about their experiences growing up in south Wales and is the most autobiographical of the songs on the album so if you're a FFAF fan, this is an absolute must.

You Me At Six - Jealous Minds Think Alike

What's it like? We are really loving You Me At Six because they've got the whole punk rock thing spot on. The songs are heavy enough to get angry to but it's light enough to listen to all the time. They put on a really energetic live show and they try to keep the prices of their tickets low so as many people as possible can catch them live!

P!nk - So What

What's it like? P!nk's back with a hot new track. It's got a glam riff and a pumping beat. It's bulging with attitude and the lyrics about picking yourself up after a relationship ends and is clearly quite biographical. It's a kick-butt girl tune and we'll have this on our stereo here for ages!

Sara Bareilles - Bottle It Up

What's it like? Following the massive success of her debut single 'Love Song', Sara Bareilles is back with a track that stays true to her laid-back melodic signature style. I like this one a lot more than 'Love Song' as it's kind of blues-ier. She's got a one-off UK show on September 28th at London's Scala so make sure you get there.
