[dweeb]

[dweeb] are a four piece from Coventry who play rock and have a newXX. The vocals are really breathy and sound a lot like Lil' Chris. We really love 'Mediocrity Schmediocrity' which mixes soft verses with a really heavy meaty chorus and sounds bit like like Boy Hits Car. All good stuff.
ElectraCute

Move over Girls Aloud and The Saturdays, there's a new girl band in town and they're called ElectraCute. Oozing with pop but with an electro-twist to some of their tracks, this group is pretty fresh. 'Danger Zone' is getting the most plays and is definitely the catchiest with its infectious dirty bass-line and its memorable chorus. Certainly ones to watch for 2009.
Pierre

If you're a fan of people like Leon Jackson, Will Young and Craig David, Pierre is certainly you're next man to idolise. His debut single 'Broken' is out now on iTunes and you can get it through his MySpace. He's 23, a dedicated non-conformist and enjoyed driving his teachers to distraction at school. He'll drive you to distraction in no time at all!
Bear Hands

You might have caught Bear Hands on the recent No Half-Measures Tour. If not, fear not - our coverage will be up soon. We absolutely love Bear Hands for their MGMTesque vocals, Arcade Fire sensibilities and Modest Mouse's fury. These are definitely the band to know about to stay ahead of the pack.
